  • Jay Park Is Classic.
    written on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 @ 9:59 PM

His  awesomeness is something that can't be measured. Even in the simplest things, he always manage to shine. For me, Jay Park will always be classic. Now and forever.

    - Macie Chavez, 2010

    Jay Park.

Why do I like love him?

The first thing that I really noticed about Jay is his jaw-dropping bboy moves. It doesn't take an expert to see his passion for dancing. He has flawless moves that looks like it was effortlessly executed. Later on, I learned that the same boy has also mad rapping skills. It's one thing to be charismatic and insanely appealing, it's another to be also talented. Jay Park can prove to you, in more ways than one, that he is definitely more than just a pretty face.

I also like his attitude. He treats his fans warmly that it makes me feel so touched. Jay Park is respected and loved worldwide because he reciprocates the love and respect given to him by his adoring fans. In addition to that, before being an ex-member of 2PM, he has shown good leadership capabilities and has taken good care of his members. Making sure that each one of them are doing good on their own.

Lastly, I love his determination and strength. After everything that he has gone through, he is still hanging on. Still standing, tall and proud. I admire him for having the courage to gather himself together and continue his dreams. He put on a brave face and went through hell and back. It was heart-breaking for a fan like me to see him in that state. And all, we, Jaywalkers can do is to stand beside him in the fight and support him. He's so humble and caring that he'd rather start anew than to dig up the past which is chaotic and full of controversy. For the man who gives his all for his dreams and his fans, Jay Park my heart goes out to you.

How did Jay Park music influence you?

Jay Park made me love me RnB and hiphop more. That is the superficial part.
I really think that his music influenced my choice of songs. I try to look not only, on the quality of the songs but also on how the artist sings the song. Jay Park's music made me realize that songs that are sang from the heart has a deeper and heartfelt meaning. Like his song “Clouds” with Dumbfounded and Clara C., it did made me really feel better. I believed them when they said that it's not always rain, there'll be sunshine. We all know that this is very much true in Jay's case. He has reached the end of the tunnel and has seen the light.
Jay Park's music is not only heartfelt, it's also inspirational.

    Finger wear: Rings
    written on Friday, September 24, 2010 @ 10:58 AM

I was supposed to go to school for my 8:30 class but since my next class (at 1PM!) was cancelled, I decided to ditch school and just bum around. I want to waste my time by doing a RING dedicated post. Oh, I want to post my rings but they are shy at the moment, maybe next post! :)
So I want to make a post about around five online shop that sells lovely rings.

    First stop: Fred Flare

Fred flare is an online shop that has now a door store at Brooklyn. Though their apparel lines is quite on the so-so level, their accessories are really unique. Quirky and adorable. They’re simple but nevertheless, classic.

Actually found out about this store when my cousin linked me to it after she got her camera ring at $10. I have the same ring that I got from a bazaar for only P70! Take that! HAHA. But I really like the Chief captain face! CUTE.

Check out their other cute stuff. Camera pouch, umbrella, mixtape usb & lego camera. I adore the camera pouch! Purddy! *cough* Birthday present *cough*

For detail lovers, there's SouZou Creations.

SouZou creations offers handmade jewelries! The details are so farking amazing! Seriously! I heard they were featured on various magazines for their "floating ring" designs.

I might as well ask for a handmade Happy Meal on my fingers! You just have to see the details! It’s insane. They have beer designs, meal sets and all. The details are so precious.

And for a dose of punk, there is London’s Gate.

They specialize in Steampunk rings and dark-themed jewelries. The details of the steampunk rings are so beautiful.

Enough of the butterflies, it’s the bees time to shine! And I love the skeleton girl as well. Not your usual, skull head with bones design. My sister was flippin’ when she saw the collection of London’s Gate, full of skulls. She totally adores skulls soo everything is like an eye candy for her.

Feeling a bit retro? Don’t cha worry because we have Retro-a-go-go!

They offer cool and hip designs on their rings that showcase one’s individuality and retro lifestyle.

I love the robot designs in their collection! You can never get bored with those cute designs. I also love their collection of belt buckles. The designs are seriously wicked!

And lastly, I can't forget people who are sucker for cute things. Like my sister at that. For cuteness overload, there’s Kuki shop.

Most of their stuff are made of polymer clay and is patterned after sweets and pastries that even one of their collection is named Sweetness.

Their collection made me hungry. The collection is mouth-watering, I tell you. I love the cakes, cookies, ice cream and pretty much the whole collection. But well, aside from the cute creations, they recently added a Vintage collection. I like the Carousel necklace. Pretty!

The downside of this post is I want to have all of those rings. These are just a few of good online shops. Next time I'll include shops that sells awesome animal designs! I can dedicate a blog post solely for them! Seriously, they're everywhere! Fore people who are too lazy to find shops one by one, there's Etsy for you. Just put in rings and billions of online ring shops will appear. I would love to go on and on about rings but I have to go now. Acads being pain in the you-know-what. Till then.

PS. I remember Jel the whole time I'm doing this. She also has an awesome online shop. Visit Fragile things now!

    Sex Drive
    written on Thursday, September 23, 2010 @ 8:20 PM

I want to blog something before the day ends because I find peace(?) in writing. Lately, it’s been crazy . When I say crazy, I mean hella crazy. To my Ninang Ganda who will be one of my favorite aunts forever: I love you forever. The progressing lovelife of my friends doesn't help me a bit.

On a lighter note, I want my comeback blog to be happy still. So I’ll rant about the movie I’ve seen just a while ago. It’s Sex Drive, a 2008 movie. Plot taken from IMDB:

Ian is a high school senior in suburban Chicago, plagued by being a virgin. Online he's inflated his resume, met Ms. Tasty, and agreed to drive to Knoxville where she promises sex. He steals his homophobic, macho brother's GTO, and, with his two best friends, Lance and Felicia, heads south. Every young woman who meets Lance, including Felicia, is attracted to him, even though he's an uncaring hound. Ian, on the other hand, is a decent guy who wouldn't mind if his friendship with Felicia became a romance. By the time they get to Knoxville, they have encountered a jealous boyfriend, a menacing hitchhiker, jail birds, carjackers, an Amish community, and Ian's better judgment

The movie made me laugh so hard and not to mention, Josh Zuckerman is also a cutie. Have you seen him in glasses? Sheesh, how come nobody gives the geeky/nerdy boy a second glance.

I wanna be like Ian in some ways though. I want to do something crazy while I’m still in college. I want to have a list. I’m working on it right now. Get drunk like hell, is for sure included in the list. That’s not really crazy for others but it’s something that I’ll do out of my character. I’ve been itching to know what’s my alcohol limit since I can remember.

And internet identity. I don’t know if it’s just me but I can’t really be like other people and assume another identity. I mean, I can’t use the anonymity to my advantage. I chat at omegle sometimes just to kill time. Friends tell me that I should assume another identity like a sexy fox or even a nerdy girl. I always end up talking about my life story to a total stranger, uncensored and unedited version. It’s easier to talk to strangers at time, you know.

I love the confession part. It’s not your typical I-realized-I-love-you thing or even the I-loved-you-all-along line.

Felicia: Why can’t you say it first?
Ian: I asked you first. But fine. *smiles* I know you love me.
Felicia: I know you love me too.
*insert graphic of the torrid kissing scene here*

I find it sweet actually. Sometimes, what is important is you know how each other feels. Cheesy but yeah, true.

In the mean time, I have yet to learn how to drive.

    Ciao now people!

PS. Sorry if my post is a bit chaotic. I’m getting rusty at blogging. Start from zero again :)
