Macie Chavez is a 24-year-old girl with both the attention span and the randomness of a 7-year-old kid. She likes purple, hiphop, swimming and washboard abs. She's weird but friendly. If you you want to connect, chat or get to know her, drop her an email or leave her a tweet. She replies, swear on the River Styx.

My Mom and Dad are both out-of -town for about 3 days already. That's the first time that BOTH of them are out. We don’t have a maid. Our last maid was when I was in 3rd year high school. My sister and I basically had to fend for ourselves for these past few days. And boy, I didn’t accomplish anything lately. I slacked off. I slept at around 4 am and I just surf the net while watching the TV. It made me think of where I could possibly be if I continue to live like this. No restrictions, no one scolding me and just simply doing whatever I want. Hopefully my parents will be back tomorrow evening.
I watched some re-runs of shows. I feel like I’m back on my teeny bopper days. I watched Nickelodeon’s Zoey 101 and Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana, Wizard of Waverly Place and Jonas Brothers. I loved Zoey 101 re-runs the most. I even looked for my old downloads of the last Season and watched them on my laptop. It’s NOT because I love Jamie Lynn Spears. She’s not exactly a role model to teens after getting pregnant at 16.
I love Mathew Underwoods and Erin Sanders. Logan and Quinn forever. They share the cutest lines there is. They still act chummy even off-cam. I wish they’d just date.
Logan: I’m embarrassed to be dating you. Quinn: Really? Logan: Yes. I can’t believe you made me say that. Quinn: I’m so thrilled that you said that, I’m embarrassed to be dating you too. Quinn: You are so irritating sometimes. Tcchhh. *Angry face* Logan: Wanna go makeout? *eyebrows wriggling* Quinn: *suddenly smiles* Yeah. Hahaha.
Plus Quinn is just another one of my favorite geeks. I love nerds/geeks and just brainy people in their eyeglasses. I dunno.
That's what you want? A brainless twerlup wearing a shirt that wouldn't fit an eight year old boy? -- Quinn
Couch potato day
written on Saturday, November 28, 2009 @ 2:45 AM
Oh-kay. Today is semi good and bad. I feel bad because I had a major headache. My sister says that it’s because of my flu. I just want to sleep all day but my sister insisted that I get on the couch and join her. Good thing that Star Movies was having some sort of X-Men marathon. I love X-men. I like Night Crawler and Kitty on X-men Evolution cartoons but I love Rogue and Mr. Iceman Bobby Drake in the movie.
I just found out that Bobby Drake’s bro is the same guy as Sebastian Hasting from the movie She’s the Man. That is so cool. I mean I didn’t recognize it until now. Maybe it’s because I don’t pay that much attention to him. I never really liked his character in both movies.
After the X-Men marathon in Star Movies, they showed Penelope. I really love the movie. I was really touched that I cried at the end. They don’t even have a kissing scene and I still love it! OMG, that’s really first for a girl who love kisses at the end of the story. It’s still a cute modern day fairytale movie. I take that back. I just downloaded the movie 'cause I super love it and saw that there's a kissing scene. I love it. It completed my day. James McAvoy is love.
Here’s the plot taken from Yahoo Movies:A modern day romantic tale about a young girl's inspiring journey, a mysterious family secret and the power of love. With all odds against her, in order for Penelope to break the family curse, she must find true love with "one of her own kind." The warm and funny adventure leads her to realize the most important life lesson, "I like myself the way I am."
Penelope Wilhern, born to wealthy socialites, is afflicted by the Wilhern spell that can only be broken when she finds love. Hidden away in her family's estate, the lonely girl meets a string of suitors in her parent's futile attempt to break the curse. Each eligible bachelor is enamored with Penelope and her sizable dowry... until her curse is revealed. Lemon, a mischievous and eager tabloid reporter wants a photograph of the mysterious Penelope and hires Max to pose as a prospective suitor to get the shot.
The handsome down-on-his luck gambler finds he falling for Penelope, but not wanting to disappoint her or to expose his surreptitious ways, he decides to disappear. Fed up by his latest betrayal and determined to live life on her own terms, Penelope breaks free from her family and ventures into the world alone. She finds adventure and Annie, her first friend and becomes the person she was meant to be.
And yes, I recognized yet another male star. He’s James McAvoy. I really loved him in Narnia as Mr. Tumnus and loved him even more in Penelope.

Semi-over it
written on Friday, November 27, 2009 @ 4:20 PM
I had two class today: 104 and 130. I was watching some subbed videos and doing some org stuff so I was able to complete my paper for 130 at about 4 in the morning.
My sister just informed me that she was at the airport with MOM yesterday to see a glimpse of Shinee. I was speechless. She didn't even tell me that she was going there.
I was really sad that I wasn't able to go to the concert. But lookig back, I didn't really do much to get a ticket. I didn't even go to NBN station which is near UP. For the record, I'm also a Sky Cable subscriber. Oh well, I'm semi-over it. Maybe it wasn't for me. Just next time, don't do free concerts. I hate free concerts. There's always scarcity of tickets. And the first come first serve basis. Paying is still the best, guaranteed seats of your choice :))
So to distract myself, I went to the movies with Ivy and Bryan. It really happened so fast. Next thing I know, I was watching the movie.
Ivy: Manonood kami Ninja Assassin.
Macie: Kailan? Parang gusto ko rin.
Ivy: Ngayon na. Paalis na kami Sama ka?
Macie: As in ngayon na? *thinks for a second* Okay. Sama ako.
Ninja assassin is not a movie for people with light stomachs. 85% of the movie is action and BLOOD. 15% is for the dialogue. Rain was not spazz worthy in the movie. But oh my god, Lee Joon is. He acted so well. Lee Joon FTW! Lee Joon gets to kiss a girl while Rain didn't. ROFL. Next time Rain, next time.

Today wasn't exactly a good day for me. I prepared a lot for our Soc Sci report but we didn't get the chance to report it. We had a Comm3 durprise quiz today. And you'll get a .02 deduction in the final grade if you get 15 below on the 30 item test. I wasn't really sure if I'll pass. Please, let me pass.
I'm totally beat but I still decided to photoshop some pictures and post them. I'm also currently under the process of renovating my blogs both in wordpress and in blogspot. BTW, I decided to post a random picture for the day just because I hate bland post.
 I seriously need a diet.

Sorry for the rushed posts. I will try to include pics, videos and what's nots next time.
Anyway, I really don't know what's wrong with my mondays. It's always unproductive. I went to my dentist today. He told me to always put my rubber bands on my braces so that I can get them out already. But frankly speaking, I love my braces! Braces makes beautiful faces. I don't know, it kinda grew on me already. I mean I have it for almost 6 years now.
And yes, I have was supposed to download the cuts of my favorite artists perf on MAMA but I decided to just download the whole show and get it over and done with. So now, hello 3GB download. It was supposed to be a 10 GB download but I saw a smaller version, thank God!
Sandara made me smile today. Family outing episode was out yesterday. Her corndog dance made me laugh. I find it cute!
I was checking chictopia and found some pitures of Daul Kim. Wow, I missed her already. She's one of my favorite models. I mean, she's twenty, fab, crazily beautiful and Korean! I just wished she's happy wherever she is right now. RIP. You will be missed.
New Moon
written on Saturday, November 21, 2009 @ 11:49 PM
We watched New Moon today. We were supposed to watch it at Eastwood but there has been a change of plans. We watched it in Trinoma instead.
New Moon is better compared to Twilight. I'm a Team Jacob member and I was really happy about his screentime and how he acted. I was rooting for Steven Strait as Jacob Black as first but maaan, I think Taylor was better and not to mention hotter. Major nosebleed. There was an abs parade that I absolutely love. Werewolves are hotter than vampires, that's for sure!
I bought a new skinny jeans and makeup afterwards. New skinny just for the heck of it and new makeup because I need it. I felt bad using my mom's makeup. They're quite expensive and I don't think it's okay if I use it when I don't really appreciate it's worth. So I bought cheaper ones. Goodbye, Estee Lauder and Max and say hello to Maybelline. I guess what's important in makeup is that it suits me.
Okay so my dad sent me home because I wanted to catch MAMA on TV while the rest of my family went to catch the last full show for 2012. And yes, I deeply regret it. I was so frustrated. I can't find Channel V! I wasn't even sure if we're Sky Cable subscribers. So in short, I wasn't able to watch it on TV. I'll just download the whole show. Congrats to the Winners. I'm looking for a blazer for my newscast tomorrow. My clothes is strewn all over my room. I just found out that I have about 3 bags of brand new clothes. Thanks to my unorganized self, I just saw them now. WOOOH. I feel bad after seeing them. I should have saved my money and I should have not splurged on my sembreak shopping. Oh well.
I'm downloading G-dragon's KJE subbed videos while I'm writing this entry. I haven't fan girl much today. I'm thinking of asking my friend to buy me Big Bang planner for 2010 when she goes to Korea this December. Thanks to the indecisive me, I won't join her trip to Korea. I feel bad about it. I wanna watch the concert! I promise to watch their concert next time, maybe in Japan. Thank you Mommy for being so understanding about my fangirling!

I'm just worried about the makeup thing. I don't like makeup but it's inevitable not to use it in my field. Guess, I have to practice at home.
I will hit the sack in a while, I have a major headache since early this afternoon. Ciao!

I just woke up and had my dinner. I really feel so lazy to do my news for tomorrow anything. Maybe the lazy feeling has something to do with my headache. I don't really know. It's a good thing that I have gathered already materials and sources for my news so it's much easier to start it.
My day was the usual, same ol' same ol'. A little fun fact before I end my entry. I felt like a modern day Cinderella today. My belt suddenly loosened and I didn't notice it until this cute guy handed them over to me. Now that was something. My friend was telling me that I should have asked for his number or something. I was never good in asking those so yeah. Hopefully I'll see him again :)

I hate you Soc Sci II. I can't understand my readings and I get more and more frustrated each time I read it. Maybe I'm not getting it because I'm not giving my full attention to the readings. Oh well, I guess no more sleep for me today to cram for my class tomorrow.
The only thing that excites me to go to school tomorrow is Comm3! I love my class. I love Sir De Pano, he's such an eloquent speaker. He also reminds me of my favorite speech teacher back in high school.

Hey-ho. I'm back on blogging since I was assigned to make a journal for my BC104 class. Let me fill you up on what happened during my absence on the blogging world. I graduated from high school. I got into the University of the Philippines. I'm now a Broadcast Communication student. I'm happy with my life as of the moment. I'm doing good and still very much in love with the South Korean Culture.
Back to my diary-ish entry. It's another unproductive day for me.I didn't finish anything at all. My readings are still left untouched. I will try to start my BC104 readings before I go to sleep and hopefully finish my Soc Sci II readings by tomorrow morning.
I haven't had my Korean fill today. Blame it on sleeping, lazing around and reading this incredibly good fan fiction. I maybe biased because I can relate to it. Falling in love with a bassist of a famous band. I was like "that's screams Macie". Story of me and my goat. And as I'm typing this entry, I just saw my twitter and it says that Family outing episode with Sandara and UEE is already out! I need to watch it 'cause Sandara Park is there. Go Dara! I'm excited to see her quirky and lovable side again.
And Oh, Pacquiao won by the way. I wasn't really surprised since I was expecting it. The online world was really excited and the social networking sites kept me updated on the match. STILL, Filipino pride baby!

we live under the same sky
“To put away aimlessness and weakness, and to begin to think with purpose, is to enter the ranks of those strong ones who only recognize failure as one of the pathways to attainment; who make all conditions serve them, and who think strongly, attempt fearlessly, and accomplish masterfully.”
- James Allen Quotes
Sometimes I wonder how people see me and what they think of me. It scares me a bit, honestly. I am sure though, that what they think of me,
what they think my life is, is a complete misperception. I have always tried to show myself as a carefree person, as someone who wont get bothered
because of public judgements. I am sure my friend and family think there is nothing going wrong in my life, that I do not worry enough, that
I am always happy. And I am sure they probably somewhat hate me for it because, lets admit it, there is nothing worse than seeing someone
who is life seems so perfect while yours is a complete mess. Truth is, I have become an expert at pretending. I think we are all experts
or at least we are getting there.
